Reading Your Finances with Patience and Clarity
Small-group workshops for adults 40 and above — on provident funds, bonds, and building a personal five-year household plan. Taught in plain language, at a considered pace.
Our Workshops
Three focused programmes, each designed around a specific area of personal finance. You bring your questions; we work through them together.
Reading the Provident Fund's Annual Statement
A two-session workshop on reading annual statements from Thai provident funds with confidence. We cover fund options, asset-class allocations, historical patterns, and the considerations of adjusting your allocation as your career nears its later phases.
- 2 sessions, 90 minutes each
- Bring your own statement (numbers redacted)
- Small group, anonymous working format
The Beginner's Reading of Bonds
A three-session evening programme on bonds and bond funds — what they are, what shapes their behavior, and the role they may play in a household portfolio at 40+. Thai and regional examples. Plain language throughout. No specific securities discussed.
- 3 evening sessions
- Printed glossary included
- Recommended reading list provided
The Five-Year Household Plan
A four-session small-group programme in which each participant drafts their own five-year household plan — goals, anticipated income and outgoings, savings rhythm, and the major decisions one anticipates. Confidential by design; your completed plan is yours alone.
- 4 sessions with individual guidance
- Printed planning template provided
- Full confidentiality maintained
Why Adults Choose Buppha Wealth
These workshops are designed around how people actually learn — not through lectures, but through careful reading, honest questions, and time to reflect.
Plain-Language Reading
Every term is explained as it appears. No assumed knowledge, no jargon left to guess at.
Small Groups, Real Attention
With a maximum of eight participants, each person's questions and context receive genuine consideration.
Private and Confidential
Personal financial details are never shared within the group. Statements are worked with numbers redacted.
Designed for the 40+ Stage
The later working years bring distinct financial questions. Our content addresses them directly, without irrelevant material.
Thai Market Context
All examples draw from Thai and regional markets — the funds, the regulations, and the household realities participants actually live with.
Materials You Keep
Printed glossaries, planning templates, and reading lists are provided — for reference long after the workshop concludes.

Common Questions
A few things participants often ask before joining a workshop.
Do I need prior knowledge of finance to attend?
No prior knowledge is required or assumed. Each programme begins from the basics and builds steadily. The workshops are specifically shaped for people who want to read financial documents more carefully — not for those who already feel comfortable doing so.
Will I receive specific investment recommendations?
No. These workshops focus on reading and understanding financial documents and structures — not on directing participants toward particular products or securities. The aim is to help you form your own informed perspective, not to replace it.
Are the sessions conducted in Thai or in English?
The workshops are conducted primarily in English, with Thai terminology used where relevant — particularly for fund names, regulatory terms, and local market references. Participants comfortable reading in both languages will find this approach helpful.
How many people attend each session?
Groups are capped at eight participants. This is deliberate — it allows each person's questions and circumstances to receive genuine attention within the session. Once a group is full, the next available date is offered.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our space on Yaowarat Road in Samphanthawong, Bangkok. It is a quiet room with a workshop table — suitable for the close reading the programmes involve. Details are confirmed in your joining instructions.
What is the cancellation arrangement?
If you need to withdraw more than seven days before the first session, the fee is returned in full. Within seven days, a transfer to the next available group is offered. Full details are outlined in the joining agreement.
Can I attend more than one workshop?
Yes. A number of participants have attended multiple programmes — the content of each is distinct, and the approaches build on one another in a natural sequence. There is no requirement to attend in any particular order, though some participants prefer to begin with the provident fund reading.
